For new fence construction or maintaining an existing fence, you sometimes will have to plan for clearing away overgrown brush. Wire mesh, chain link, barb wire, and even wood fence lines can be over-taken by climbing vines, ivy, and weeds. Hand clearing brush is time consuming, dangerous and a lot of work.
